The health of migrants is deeply impacted by various factors, such as social inequities, gender dynamics, migration processes. Our research project examines how these complex relationships can affect health. We want to identify and understand how gender and migration shape access to and quality of care, and to develop concrete strategies to address gaps in healthcare for migrants. Using a transdisciplinary approach, we examine key health indicators in collaboration with non-academic organizations to translate our findings into practical solutions.

FOCUS

Health research in the context of migration, gender, and intersectional inequality.

GOAL

Develop a better understanding of migrant health in Germany and integrate new insights into practice.
